Margaritas are being poured. And your table just turned into the life of the party.
Party Animal North Fork is fully stocked for Cinco de Mayo with a Fiesta collection that’s bold, vibrant, and just the right amount of over the top. Punchy colors, playful patterns, and statement pieces that instantly bring the energy.
It’s the kind of setup that turns a casual taco night into something that feels like an event: the table pops, the drinks hit a little better, and suddenly everyone’s asking where you got everything.
Whether you’re hosting a backyard get together, putting together a themed spread, or just want an excuse to do something fun, they’ve got the details that make it all come together without the stress.
Fair warning: the best pieces won’t stick around. Stop in, see it all in person, and let them help you bring your Cinco de Mayo setup to life.

The Lowdown
Enrollment Down 📉
Mattituck-Cutchogue school officials say the district is still performing well academically, but long term challenges are getting harder to ignore.
Superintendent Shawn Petretti told residents that while consolidation with a neighboring district is still on the table, no nearby districts are interested. That leaves the district navigating declining enrollment and rising costs largely on its own.
Student enrollment has dropped from about 1,500 in 2012 to roughly 960 today, driven by high housing costs and shifting demographics. At the same time, the district receives minimal state aid, putting more pressure on local taxpayers.
A formal merger study would cost around $100,000, and even if a partner emerged, the process could take three to four years. Meanwhile, the district is already adapting, combining about 75% of varsity sports teams with other schools and exploring ways to generate revenue, like leasing unused buildings.
Inside the classrooms, though, the picture is stronger. Officials pointed to solid academic performance, growing participation in advanced courses, and expanding programs, including career training and dual enrollment.

New Chef at Anker 🧑🍳
Anker is reopening for the season on May 1 with a new chef at the helm.
East End veteran Albert Hand is stepping into the kitchen and leaning fully into his “have fun with it” philosophy, building a menu that pulls from Caribbean, Asian, and European influences.
Seafood is still the backbone, but it’s getting a remix. Swordfish with yuca and mango-papaya tapenade, or halibut with crispy rice, eggplant, yuzu, macadamia and lychee foam.
Brunch is getting the same treatment. Eggs Benedict lands on a fried green tomato instead of an English muffin, topped with lobster claw and pork loin.
Not into seafood? You’re still covered. The menu dips into land options like duck burgers, ribeye, pork belly and bison.

New Boutique on Love Lane 🛍️
Bella Grace Boutique just opened its doors, adding another stop for spring and summer style right in the heart of Love Lane.
The shop is the creation of co-owners Jodi Kral and Stephanie D’Gracia, best friends, neighbors, and now storefront owners.
What began as handmade jewelry sold at craft fairs grew into a steady presence inside a Bellport home décor shop, eventually expanding into clothing, accessories, and giftable pieces. When a vacancy popped up on Love Lane, they didn’t hesitate.
