The Lowdown

🏠 Big news for Southold housing

A 24x220 ft, one-story building with 6 rental apartments — 3 of them affordable — just cleared a major hurdle as the Town Board approved the sewage treatment plan. The project, has been brewing since October 2023 and will be located behind the barber shop and thrift store, right across from Mullen Motors. Each apartment will be 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and at least 850 sq ft.

👀 What’s next? Town Supervisor Al Krupski says zoning code updates are on the way, with public comments open for 3+ months — so stay tuned! ($)
