A Fresh Take on the North Fork š·
North Fork Sights, Bites & Flights isnāt your typical wine tour, and honestly, thatās the point. This is a curated, small-group experience (2ā10 people) that blends vineyards, oysters, farms, and local producers into one seamless, fully planned day, complete with pickup, drop-off, and a guide who actually knows the people behind the places.
Yes, visitors love it. But locals might appreciate it even more.
Because itās not about where you go, itās how you experience it. Behind the scenes tastings, conversations with owners, perfectly timed stops, zero planning, zero driving.
Perfect for hosting friends, entertaining clients, or just treating yourself to a version of the North Fork that feels a little more VIP than routine.

Greenportās Farmers Market š„¬
Greenportās Farmers Market is heading back to Mitchell Park on May 23.
The biggest change this season: the market is officially moving from Friday afternoons to Saturdays from 9 AM to 12:30 PM Market manager Paul Livesey says the shift is aimed at making the market easier for locals with weekday jobs and weekenders rolling into town Friday night.
The vendor lineup is stacked with returning favorites like Treiber Farms, Deep Dive Farm, Alpina Bakery, Consider Bardwell cheeses, Hormanās Best Pickles, Greenport Jerky, Eastward Lavender and Disset Chocolate.
New additions this year include Sweet Melissa 1932 Farmhouse, Turturici & Sons olive oil, NoFo Flour Shoppe, The Crumb & The Kettle and Lily Pad Acres flowers. Basically, the tote bag is going to fill up fast.
The market will also bring back live music and community programming funded by Friends of Mitchell Park, including performances from the Roth and Fuhr Men and creative workshops with VEME Studios.

Headlines Into Folk Songs š¶
David Roth likes to describe himself as āthe most famous songwriter youāve never heard of,ā which sounds modest until you realize one of his songs literally orbited Earth aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis.
Ahead of his May 16 performance at the Jamesport Meeting House, Roth reflected on a career that somehow includes NASA, Carnegie Hall, Chicago Bulls games and English textbooks in India.
Roth calls himself a āmusical reporter,ā pulling songs from overlooked human moments and real life stories. One of his best known songs, āNine Gold Medals,ā tells the true story of Special Olympics runners stopping mid-race to help a fallen competitor. Another was inspired by a Florida police officer quietly paying for groceries for a struggling mother caught shoplifting food.
