The Einstein Conspiracy 📚

Former Congressman Steve Israel just dropped a new historical thriller, The Einstein Conspiracy. The whole thing was inspired by Einstein’s actual 1939 cottage on Nassau Point. Yep, the world’s most famous genius once summered on the North Fork, wrote a letter to FDR warning about Nazi atomic ambitions, and spent his free time sailing the Sound like the rest of us.

Israel spotted the cottage, let his imagination run wild, and cooked up a story where two FBI agents race to stop a German operative sent to abduct Einstein. The book weaves real Long Island history with page turning fiction.

Israel wrote an epilogue to separate fact from fiction, but he hopes the story pulls people deeper into the hidden history of Long Island.

Global Recognition Award 🏆

Dr. Marilyn LoPresti isn’t just teaching tai chi, she’s rewriting the playbook on senior wellness. The 80 year old founder of North Fork Bodies In Motion just snagged a 2025 Global Recognition Award.

LoPresti blends authentic martial arts, modern geriatric science, and four decades of educational leadership to create fitness programs for adults 60–80+.

LoPresti also made history at the Shaolin Temple in China, where she and her sister became the first women to perform for the Grand Abbot, a major breakthrough in a traditionally male dominated space.

Her North Fork studio has become a haven for older adults looking to build strength, balance, and confidence, proving that martial arts aren’t just for kids. Her students swear by it, the outcomes back it up, and now a global awards panel does too.
