🥇 North Fork Wrestlers Take State by Storm!

Big news for local wrestling! James Felakos, Luca Sirico, and Ryder Antonucci are heading to the NY State Championships. Felakos snagged the 190-pound title (for the second year in a row), Sirico crushed it in the 170-pound class, and Antonucci wrestled up a weight class to grab second at 138. It’s the largest state-bound squad for Mattituck since 2020, and Coach Ryan Grebe is fired up. Matches start Feb. 28 — let’s rally behind these champs and bring home some medals! 🏆🤼 ($)

🍴Chefs Rally for Crescent Duck Farm 🦆

Long Island chefs are teaming up to support Crescent Duck Farm after a bird flu outbreak led to major losses and layoffs. The event, "Flock Together," lands at Tellers Next Door in Islip on Feb. 28 at 6PM, featuring mouthwatering food stations, local drinks, and an auction. Organized by chefs Francis Derby and Michael Bohlsen, it’s a culinary show of love for a beloved family-run farm. Get your tickets and support the flock! Tickets 🦆

🚀 Greenport Takes Action on Housing, Climate, and Community Resilience

Greenport just launched its Civic Association with a powerhouse forum tackling the North Fork’s future. Local leaders dove into affordable housing struggles (think $3k studios 😱), coastal resilience, and infrastructure upgrades. Mayor Kevin Stuessi pushed for zoning changes to allow more affordable housing, while officials highlighted state and county funds for sewer systems and shoreline protection. The message?
