🏀 Mattituck Girls Take the W 🎉  

What a game! The Mattituck Girls Varsity Basketball team pulled off a nail-biting 48-46 win against Pierson on Monday night. Talk about clutch!

Now, they’re headed to St. Joseph's University in Patchogue this Sunday, March 2 for the county finals— and they’re not going alone. The Mattituck Boys Varsity Basketball team will be playing in the county finals too. It’s a Tuckers takeover!

🦆 Crescent Duck Farm Welcomes New Ducklings! 🐣

After a challenging start to the year with a bird flu outbreak, Crescent Duck Farm in Aquebogue has some quacking good news! They've successfully hatched about 3,700 ducklings from the 15,000 eggs saved during the crisis. While this number is less than hoped, it's a vital step toward rebuilding their unique flock. 🐥

Farm president Doug Corwin remains optimistic, focusing on nurturing these ducklings to maintain the farm's distinctive genetics. The female ducks are expected to start laying eggs in about six months, marking a hopeful resurgence for the farm. ($)
