Young Reporters in Training šŸ“°

Cutchogue East fourth graders got a front-page-worthy visit from Suffolk Times reporters Ana Borruto and Nicole Wagner who dropped by to school the students on the world of community journalism. They broke down what makes a story pop, the behind-the-scenes roles in a newsroom, and even spotlighted some local scoops

The future journalists didn’t just listen—they chimed in with what they think makes a great reporter: curiosity, research skills, and top-tier listening. As a sweet bonus? Each student got an official-looking ā€œpress passā€ to seal the deal. ($)
