Casa Amigos Is Back 🌮
After more than a decade, Mexican food is officially returning to Greenport’s Third Street, as Casa Amigos Restaurante prepares to open later this month in the former Meson Ole space at 131 Third St.
Casa Amigos, run by partners Elias Martinez and Victor Cruz, is relocating from its longtime Front Street home, which closed at the end of December. The new spot will feature a bar, dining room, and patio, making it an easy pick for everything from casual dinners to margarita fueled catchups.
A soft opening is planned for this weekend details coming via Instagram.

Missing Parrot Alert 🦜
Please keep your eyes and ears open.
Artemis, a 1½ year old African gray parrot, has gone missing near the Southold / Greenport border, and her family is asking for the community’s help. She was last seen on Wednesday flying south across County Road 48 toward the Stony Shore Drive, Bayberry Lane, and Wild Cherry Way area.
Artemis is likely perched in a tree and is known to be vocal, she whistles, squawks, chortles, and makes beeping sounds. If she feels comfortable, she may even respond by trading sounds back and forth.
If you see or hear anything that might be Artemis, please call, text, or message 917-335-2370.
